International specialists helping raise the quality of education in Armenia

This approach is especially important in Armenia because our young people deserve the best education without having to leave the country. For this reason, MekStep Academy decided to engage two specialists, Fred Copestake and Melinè Grigoryan, PhD, who will teach at MekStep Academy.

International specialist
Fred Copestake
Fred Copestake is from the United Kingdom. He is the founder of Brindis and a sales trainer. He has decades of experience in B2B sales and specializes in ethical selling, the use of AI in sales, risk management and hybrid sales techniques. His approach is based on the Orange Hat Thinking model, a collaborative and ethical method of selling. Fred is also an author who writes about sales, including “Selling with AI starts in the same place good selling always has” and “How to Guarantee Sales Training Results”.
At MekStep Academy, Fred will teach the Sales Ethics module and bring international sales experience that will help students learn modern B2B sales strategies and prepare for the global business environment.

International specialist
Melinè Grigoryan, PhD
Melinè Grigoryan, PhD, is an education scholar and researcher with international experience and a PhD, and a Fulbright Scholar at Stanford University. She has more than 12 years of experience in research-based policy and program development. Her expertise includes inclusive education, social-emotional learning (SEL) and AI-supported learning. She is Head of Education Programs at the Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), where she has worked since 2013. Melinè actively contributes to international initiatives, including the University of Oxford’s AIEOU Shared Research Agenda 2026 and the HundrED community.
At MekStep Academy, Melinè will teach the AI from Zero module and bring experience from Stanford and international practice, introducing students to modern educational approaches that combine science, technology and the development of human potential.
